Hello, my name is Valerie Baack and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist at Mind, Body & Spirit Chiropractic in Cedar Rapids, IA. I am so pleased to be a part of an exceptionally caring team. I completed my training from the American Massage Therapy Association in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 2006.
It's always been in my heart to help others. My massage work consists of a variety of techniques that can be tailored to your specific needs. Including: deep tissue, swedish, hot stone, pregnancy, and reflexology massage. I enjoy working with a variety of clients and I currently work with clients from ages 8-80 years. All are welcome and appreciated.
I help individuals with chronic conditions such as headaches, ‘tennis elbow’, rotator cuff injuries, carpel tunnel syndrome, mid back pain, low back pain, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, to name a few. I am focused on working with the client to regain full range of motion and on proper stretching techniques for pain free movement. I also help those with chronic stress where a massage may mean a better night sleep, feeling relaxed and invigorated.
